Screenprint adapted from an original painting.
In the 60's I made decorations for the Star Gym Rugby Club Dance, drawings of rucks and scrums, trys and lineouts. These evaporated into the night after the dance. I made a mural in the State Hotel like a Greek vase, from throw-in to try, which disappeared under a cigarette advert. This simple image of the rugby players head remains as proof I once worshipped.
