This lonely grasshopper was a chance to do my St. Francis thing, for as I leant down to observe him, he jumped onto my sleeve and when I carried him up to the grassy bank of the cliff he jumped off without a word of thanks. On the back of this I wrote: “I have laboured over this work and it is probably my last rock work”.
